Grace Mattei is a native New Yorker and a resident of Staten Island. She attended St. Joseph Hill Academy, Pace University and New York Law School graduating all three with honors. She began her legal career on Wall Street at HSBC Bank USA/Marine Midland Bank where she worked as an Executive Director in the International Risk Management Division. From HSBC she was recruited to the highly regarded Staten Island firm of Jacobi, D'Alessandro, Jacobi & Sieghardt, P.C., where she represented clients in general real estate, civil, matrimonial and estate matters and handled mortgage loan closings for Citibank, N.A.
In 1992, she established her private law practice to focus on the areas of law that she found most rewarding. Those areas of law that help clients bring the future into focus: investing in real estate, planning for their family's future, achieving their financial goals and ultimately securing the future of loved ones. While building her practice she was elected to various executive leadership roles including serving as President of the Richmond County Bar Association. At the state level she was elected to the office of Vice President of the New York State Bar Association and also served as a Member of the New York State Bar House of Delegates. She also served as Treasurer and then President of the Auxiliary to the Visiting Nurse Association. Grace is recognized by her peers for her talent, by her clients for her dedication and by the community for her deep connection and commitment to advancing education, ethics, collaboration, and general excellence within the legal communities of Staten Island, New York City and New York State.
